WhiteOut!
June 29th, 2006
Pasi Kolhonen is studying the effects of advertising on city spaces as a full-time researcher at the School of Visual Culture in the University of Art and Design Helsinki and is presenting an interesting exhibition on advertising and its effects.
Visitors to the Finnish Museum of Photography are invited to “wipeout” everything but the advertising, images, texts, and signs in common everyday environments in one Kolhonen’s newest exhibitions.

Negative in bias the piece seems a bit superficial, but important nonetheless to showcase how many message a daily person takens in. Our thoughts at Aap!Global - only strengthens the need to be creative and energetic in our advertising tactics.
Blanket tactics like these rarely work.
