Engineering Internship Opportunity
Welcome to Aap!Global.
We specialize in creating and managing high recall, high impact advertising spaces worldwide. We’re looking for a superstar engineering student to join the Aap!Global engineering team to help us work on the next generation of outdoor media advertising systems.
We offer an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated student who is looking to gain experience in the area of engineering in a fast paced high technology company. A part-time unpaid internship is available immediately with flexible hours.
Candidate must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. This intern position could lead to a full-time engineering position with starting salary of $50 - $105 K. Past UCI interns have been promoted to exciting positions internationally in South America and Asia.
Skills set desired/required:
# Must understand basic electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
# Must have a technical aptitude, be detail oriented and organized.
# Must be able to clearly document a process by observation or from equipment/process manuals.
# Basic drafting skills
# Basic circuitry design
# Must have the ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
# Must be able to work with little supervision to complete a task.
# Curious, entrepreneurial, and self motivated
# Able to source and design complex solutions
# Interest in outdoor media and advertising technologies
# Positive attitude and willingness to learn
# Multi-lingual a plus.
# Experience with deployed products.
The engineering intern will work with the team on the refinement of current systems and design of new alternative advertising technologies. Interns will be core members of a team working on an in-tunnel advertising technology for usage in subway systems worldwide. (more info @ metro-vista.com).
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
# Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in college, pursuing an engineering or technical degree.
