See an Mobile Advertising Bus - Driving around Tokyo on weekends are large mobile advertising billboards add to the visual spectrum. Even Google Maps can’t escape their message.
Illegal Adverts Dot the City - Not sure if this is is an illegal advert or not, but Neckface and Vans have teamed to deck up ABC shoes stores in Tokyo with graffitti. Look for this and other graffiti inspired artwork in this area of Tokyo.
Laforet - From PopUp Sneaker Shops to Escalator Handrail Advertising, Laforet is at the for front of marketing. This is a must stop for any shopping and advertising fan visiting or working in Tokyo. The trend setting shopping complex, consisting of seven floors of fashion boutiques and shops, mainly geared towards a young, female audience features a great media / exhibition space long with exciting out of home media campaigns.
ADMT / Museum of Advertising - Either learning about Dentsu’s History to exhibitions on advertising in the Showa Period - this is a must stop if you are in Tokyo. Also you’ll get to stop by Dentsu - the world’s largest consolidate media agency and media owner.

YodaBashi - For the gadget lovers - this is another example of the sometimes overwhelming but amazing neon future that is Tokyo. Buildings covered in digital and neon billboards compete for users. Inside you’ll find the latest in point of purchase media, and even Aap!Rails - escalator handrail advertising.
Kabukicho - End your tour with a virtual visit to Kabukicho where the nightlife compete with billboards, old media signs, street promoters for the attention of patrons.

Where are the video screens that pop out and address me by name, hawking nearby goods and services, armed with my purchase history, religion and sexual preference? Where are the radio towers that beam messages directly into my brain? I thought Japan was futuristic…..
